The Province of Bari presents unusual landscapes to the visitors; from Polignano's cliff to the wonderful Grottoes of Castellana. In this area, you don't neglect to visit Castel del Monte (in the picture), the shooting castle of Frederick II, the beautiful Cathedral of Trani, but also the characteristic historical centre of Bari with the Basilica of St. Nicholas and the Cathedral dedicated to San Sabino. Another story is for Alberobello, the unique place in the world, which is constituted for most of it by Trulli, rustic houses with the roof shaped like a overturned cone (in the picture).

| BAT
(Barletta - Andria - Trani) |
With the law 11/6/2004 n.18, it's instituted new province of Barletta - Andria - Trani. It is an important event for the entirely Apulia, because this is the evidence of growth of a territory, under every point of view. Other seven towns are part of the same province: Bisceglie, Canosa, Margherita di Savoia, Minervino Murge, San Ferdinando, Spinazzola, Trinitapoli. Later there will be the elections to appoint the President and the council, anyway we want to include it already in our programming also this new dawning area, rich of history and naturalistic sceneries.
